item Western Spruce-Pine-Fir 2x4 #2&Btr KD (RL) was US$408 mfbm. This is up
+$6, or +1%, from the previous week when it was $402, said weekly forest
products industry price guide newsletter Madison’s Lumber Reporter.
That week’s price is up +$5, or +1%, from one month ago when it was $404.
Compared to the same week last year, when it was US$380 mfbm, that week’s
price was up +$28, or +7%. Compared to two years ago when it was $480, that
week’s price was down -$72, or -15%.
In the week ending October 25, 2024, the price of Southern Yellow Pine East
Side 2x4 #2&Btr KD (RL) was US$485 mfbm. This is up +$10, or +2%, from the
previous week when it was $475.
That week’s price is up +$85, or +21%, from one month ago when it was $400.
When compared to the same week last year, when it was $435, that week’s
price was up +$50, or +11%. Compared to two years ago when it was $465, that
week’s price was up +$20, or +4%.
