In the heart of Western Ukraine, the Samanchuk family has been running a successful oak lumber business for two generations.
The company was started by Vasyl Samanchuk, who recognized the economic potential of the expansive oak forests in his region. He invested his savings in a basic sawmill, which marked the beginning of the LumbersUA LLC.

Ivan's son, Ross , grew up around the sawmill, learning the ins and outs of the industry from a young age. He watched his father manage the business, absorbing his values of hard work, sustainability, and respect for the environment. As an adult, Ross took over the company's operations while his father remained as an advisor, sharing his wisdom and experience.

Together, they've managed to expand the LumbersUA Co. considerably, balancing traditional sustainable harvesting practices with the needs of the global market. Today, their business stands as a symbol of economic growth and sustainability in Western Ukraine, while the family's bond has been strengthened by their shared vision and dedication to their work.
