| ISSFA Approves Standards for Solid
Surfacing Materials The Board of Directors of the International Solid Surface Fabricators Assn. has unanimously approved the Solid Surface Standard ISSFA-2-01. The standard differentiates materials into three classifications ?Standard Type, Special Purpose Type, and Veneer Type ?and sets engineering and performance requirements for those types. The standard quotes protocols from ASTM, NEMA and TAPPI, but also includes eight original tests.
