According to the most recent tariff rates issued by China's Customs, as of since January 1
2002, import duties on plywood has been cut from 15% to around 10% and that for veneer has
been lowered from 8% to about 4%. The import duties on logs and sawnwood are zero.
The import duty rates for plywood and veneer are as follows:
