AUSTRIA: Decreasing softwood lumber exports
In the first seven months, Austrian softwood lumber exports decreased by 7% compared to the same period last year. Exports to the EU saw a slightly less pronounced decline of -3%.

AUSTRIA: Log imports at a ten-year low
Between January and July, Austria imported 2.7 million m3 of softwood sawlogs. Year on year, imports decreased by 527,000 m³, or 16%. They also reached the lowest level in ten years. All of the four main suppliers delivered smaller volumes to Austria.

AUSTRIA:Laminated timber exports down by 2%
In the first seven months of 2026, Austria exported 1.12 million m3 of glulam and CLT, i.e. 2.1% less than in the same period last year.
