The EGGER Group has reported a resilient financial performance
for the 2025/2026 financial year, demonstrating stability
through strategic investments, operational expansion, and
continued innovation despite a challenging global economic
environment. The family-owned wood-based materials manufacturer
recorded a turnover of €4.26 billion, supported by focused
investments aimed at strengthening its long-term competitiveness
and sustainability strategy.
The company generated EBITDA of €541.8 million, while investing
€450.1 million across its international operations. During the
financial year, EGGER produced 10.9 million cubic metres of
wood-based materials, reflecting the company’s strong
manufacturing capabilities and continued commitment to serving
customers across the furniture, interior design, flooring, and
construction industries.
Founded in 1961 and headquartered in St. Johann in Tirol,
Austria, EGGER has grown into one of the world’s leading
manufacturers of wood-based materials, operating more than 20
production facilities worldwide. The company is widely
recognized for its integrated value chain, sustainable
manufacturing practices, and innovative portfolio of decorative
products, structural building materials, and flooring solutions.
Presenting the financial results during the company’s annual
press conference, the Group Management emphasized that stable
development in the current market cannot be taken for granted.
Ongoing economic challenges, geopolitical uncertainty, and
fluctuating market conditions continue to influence the global
wood and panel industry. Nevertheless, EGGER maintained a stable
business performance through disciplined investments and
long-term strategic planning. A significant milestone during the
financial year was the continued expansion of the company’s
production facility in Markt Bibart, Germany, further
strengthening manufacturing capacity and operational efficiency.
EGGER also commissioned its new power plant at its headquarters
in St. Johann in Tirol, Austria, reinforcing its commitment to
renewable energy and increasing energy independence across its
operations.
Innovation remained another key priority with the successful
launch of the EGGER Decorative Collection 26+, introducing new
design possibilities for architects, designers, furniture
manufacturers, and interior specialists. The updated collection
reflects evolving market trends while expanding the company’s
comprehensive range of decorative surfaces and coordinated
products.
Alongside manufacturing and product development, EGGER continued
investing in recycling infrastructure across the Group. These
initiatives support the company’s circular economy objectives by
increasing the use of recycled wood materials, reducing resource
consumption, and advancing sustainable production processes
throughout its manufacturing network.
According to the company, these investments strengthen EGGER’s
competitiveness while directly supporting its long-term
strategic priorities, including industrial responsibility,
renewable energy, and continuous product and design innovation.
By combining operational efficiency with responsible resource
management, the company aims to further enhance its position in
international markets while meeting growing customer
expectations for sustainable wood-based solutions.
EGGER also acknowledged the collective efforts of its
approximately 12,000 employees worldwide, together with the
continued trust of customers and business partners, as key
contributors to the company’s stable performance throughout the
financial year.
As market conditions continue to evolve, EGGER remains focused
on investing in innovation, sustainable manufacturing, and
future-ready production capabilities that will support long-term
growth while creating value for customers, partners, and the
wider woodworking and furniture industries.
