According to Grembox, the site is anticipated to become one of
the largest centres for the manufacture of corrugated cardboard
packaging in Poland.
The Polish packaging manufacturer Grambox plans to build a new
production facility in Bytom, according to packaging-journal.
The investment amounts to investing 110 million zloty
(approximately 26 million euros).
The plant will be installed in the Katowice Special Economic
Zone (KSSE) in Bytom. The plan is to commission the facility
from mid-2027, producing corrugated cardboard packaging for both
Polish and international markets. The project is expected to
create up to 70 new jobs.
According to Grembox, the site is anticipated to become one of
the largest centres for the manufacture of corrugated cardboard
packaging in Poland.
“A state-of-the-art corrugated cardboard packaging production
facility is being built in Bytom. We chose the location in the
KSSE on Hakuby Street, among other reasons, because of the large
available area near our headquarters, as well as the convenient
access to the A1 motorway and important road and rail transport
routes,“ says Krzysztof Migocki, Finance Director of Grembox, as
quoted by packaging-journal.
A highly automated production with digitally controlled material
flow management is expected.
