DECORA SA plans to invest 40 million euros to enhance its production capacity in SPC designer flooring and mineral wall systems
Feb 6, 2025

DECORA SA, the Polish manufacturer of designer flooring, wall systems, and installation accessories the largest investment in its history. The company will allocate EUR 40 million to the expansion of its production plant in Środa Wielkopolska. The new 30,000 m2 production and storage hall will be equipped with advanced technological lines, which will significantly increase production capacity (5 million m2) in the strategic segments of SPC vinyl flooring and mineral walls.

Thanks to the implementation of the DECORA project, the company will increase its production capacity by 5 million m˛ per year. This is a response to the rapidly growing demand, especially in Western Europe, where SPC flooring—combining durability, water resistance, and ease of installation—is one of the fastest-growing finishing categories.

The new infrastructure will support both the production of SPC panels and innovative wall solutions under the MODEE brand – products that have won recognition from international juries at the Red Dot Award, iF Design Award, German Design Award, and the Polish Good Design Award. Both categories fit perfectly into the assumptions of the “dECOra WAY” strategy, which focuses on sustainable development, energy efficiency, and closed-loop production.

The entire investment will be financed from the company's own funds and a bank loan. Construction is scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2026.

The project is part of DECORA SA's long-term growth strategy, which aims to strengthen the company's position in key export markets and develop its product portfolio based on advanced technologies and design. DECORA is the only manufacturer in Europe offering floor underlays in three technologies (XPS, PEHD, PUM), and its range also includes skirting boards, profiles, and vinyl panels with the innovative HD Mineral CoreŽ mineral core.

In recent years, the company has significantly expanded its international operations. Its products are now sold in 55 countries, with over 60% of sales generated outside Poland, primarily in Western Europe. During the first three quarters of 2025, DECORA recorded an increase in turnover of over 11%, strengthening its position as one of the most dynamic exporters in the interior design industry.
