MENA region imports more softwood lumber
In the first three quarters of 2025, the countries of the MENA region imported 5% more softwood lumber than in the same period in 2024. Increases were mainly recorded in shipments from Brazil, Finland and Austria.

AUSTRIA: Softwood log imports down by nearly 500,000 m3
In the first ten months of 2025, Austria imported 4.5 million m³ of softwood sawlogs, i.e. 475,000 m3, or 9%, less than in the same period in 2024.
