Sweden: Softwood lumber exports with a slight increase
From January to October 2025, Sweden exported slightly more softwood lumber and planed timber than in the same period in 2024. Substantial increases were recorded in shipments to the USA and Morocco.

Sweden: Industrial wood prices no longer rising
Softwood industrial wood prices in Sweden fell by around 8% between the second quarter of 2025 and the third quarter of 2025. Hardwood industrial wood prices fell by 2%. This means that the upward trend that had been virtually unbroken since the beginning of 2022 has come to an end.

Sweden: Softwood log prices decline
Between June and September 2025, Swedish prices for softwood logs fell by around 6%. This brings the steep upward trend that has dominated the market for over a year to a temporary halt.
