Seattle-based Weyerhaeuser has made an Inland Northwest
footprint expansion with the addition of two new distribution
centers: one located in Spokane, Wash., and the other in
Billings, Mont. With these additions, Weyerhaeuser will operate
from 21 distribution centers throughout the U.S.
For the Spokane location, Weyerhaeuser acquired Wausau Supply
Company’s Spokane facility. (Weyerhaeuser says it does not have
plans to acquire additional Wausau locations.)
Weyerhaeuser will begin distributing to customers throughout
Eastern Washington, Northern Idaho and Western Montana from its
new Spokane distribution center this July.
Following a warehouse and sales office remodel, the company
anticipates servicing customers across Montana and Northern
Wyoming from the Billings location beginning in January 2026.
According to Weyerhaeuser, its Billings location is a standalone
development on a 24-acre site, featuring a 10-acre laydown yard
and a 150,000-square-foot warehouse. "The facility is
purpose-built to support the full range of our engineered and
specialty building products, and it’s being remodeled to align
with our evolving sales and logistics strategies," according to
a Weyerhaeuser spokesperson.
