According to the latest data from Statistics Canada, lumber production by Canadian sawmills in October was up 7.6% from September to 4,251,300 cubic metres. Production was down 5.2% from October 2023.

Sawmills shipped 4 441.5 thousand cubic metres of lumber in October, up 13.0% from September and up 1.6% from October 2023.
