Up to October, Austria exported 4.9 million m³ of sawn softwood, which corresponds to an increase of 7% or 336,000 m³ compared to 2023. While exports to Italy, Slovenia and France remained constant, significantly more sawn softwood was exported to Japan, the Czech Republic and Poland. Exports to Switzerland and the USA, on the other hand, were below the level of 2023.
