Japan's laminated timber imports up by 20%
From January to November, Japan imported around 610,000 m³ of glulam and CLT, recording an increase of over 100,000 m³ or 21% compared to last year.

Japanese imports slightly better than in 2023 but still weak
In the first eleven months of 2024, Japan imported 3.6 million m³ of softwood lumber, i.e. 22% more than last year.
