Finland: 10% less softwood sawn timber exported
From January to July, Finland exported 3.9 million m3 of softwood lumber, 10% less than in the same period last year. With one exception, Japan, less sawn timber was delivered to all customers within the top 10.

SWEDEN: Declining Swedish glulam sales
In the first half of the year, Swedish glulam sales fell by 16% compared to the same period last year, according to the latest statistics from the industry association Swedish Wood. Despite the lower sales level, growing demand is located in specific construction projects, such as warehouse and logistics buildings, schools or care facilities.
