German kitchen company
enters UK market for first time |
Nolte Group-owned Express Kitchens is set to launch into the UK market for the first time next month, with the launch of its upcoming London trade showroom. The brand says it specialises in large projects and has a particularly strong position in the German market, and is now looking to introduce its offering to architects, property developers and interior designers in the UK marketplace. Express Kitchens also believes its price point ¨C which it says is ¡°outstanding¡± ¨C sets it apart from other brands. According to the company, it focuses on providing value for money through its offering of high-quality kitchens that don¡¯t compromise on style or durability. The new 900 sq ft Express Kitchens showroom is set to open on September 13, in Islington¡¯s Business Design Centre. The space will feature several display¡¯s from the brand¡¯s portfolio of fitted kitchens, as well as a selection of worktops, sinks and taps. Scot Greenwood, UK sales manager for Express Kitchens, said: ¡°Our investment in the first UK Express Kitchens showroom is a significant milestone and marks the first phase of our strategic expansion. ¡°We have high ambitions for our growth in the UK and are confident that our new trade showroom, in a fantastic location in the heart of London, will be the first step towards replicating our success in Germany. We look forward to showcasing our high-quality kitchen range and forging many new trade partnerships in the UK.¡± The launch of Express Kitchens in the UK follows Nolte¡¯s decision to also launch a new retail franchise model this year, specifically focusing on finding partners in Leicester, Newcastle and the North East, Leicestershire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, London and South Wales.
