Softwood sawn timber prices in the MENA region recently came under some pressure at the end of Ramadan. In the direction of Algeria it is currently around 230 to 245 €/m³ (free arrival). This is up to 20 €/m³ less than at the beginning of the year. The price is still 34 €/m³ higher than the five-year period (2019-2023).
