The Swiss pellet price in November 2023 fell by 0.4 per cent compared to the previous month to an average of CHF 497.50 per tonne. This was reported by the internet portal Pelletpreis.ch.

According to Pelletpreis.ch, the Swiss pellet price in November 2023 is 25.3 per cent lower than a year ago, when it was CHF 666. The current average price is based on information from 25 suppliers.

Unlike heating oil and gas, 80 per cent of the pellets burned in Switzerland do not come from a distant country, but are produced in Switzerland, according to Pelletpreis.ch. The rest comes from Germany and Austria.
