Japan sawn softwood imports down by almost 40%

Japan imported significantly less sawn softwood in the first three quarters of 2023 than in the same period last year. Japan has bought significantly less from all the top importing nations so far this year. With a total volume of 2.37 million m3, it is almost 39% below the figures from 2022.
