Some smaller logging companies offer to supply hardwood logs or sawn timber in part or full payment for equipment and parts supplied. We take steps to ensure that the buyers are operating legitimate logging concessions and they have the necessary export approvals from the country concerned. From time to time we need to find markets in Europe and North America for such hardwood logs.
