SC ALTERNATIVECONSTRUCT is a company specialized in panelled houses with material made of wood, known as: Holzrahmenbau, Timber Frame, Ossature Bois, 2"x4"-2"x6".
The system we promote supposes a more judicious usage of wood, it provides elasticity to the structure and avoids pressure concentration through their dissipation and the spatial butt joint of the assembly.
The outside walls are made of 45x150mm elements; while the division ones are of 45x100 mm, the vertical beams are usually at 40 cm one from another and the headboards assure the butt joint among the panels and the uniform concentration of efforts. In Germany we adapt to the requirements of the Holzrahmenbau system (elements of 60 mm in thickness and 60 cm distance among the vertical beams).
For an easy assemblage, the walls are of panels of 3-5 m length, easy to handle on the construction site.
