|2002 Less Dealing with Non JAS
The Japanese dealers of plywood have come to transact much more JAS Fc0 items, which release less formaldehyde, as the government has announced a draft of an ordinance and notification concerning the measures against sick-house syndrome under the Building Standard Law, as well as the JAS on plywood is scheduled to be revised. It is expected to be difficult for the market to deal with non JAS articles, once the notification is effective after July 2003.
