Domtar Inc. launched a new line of Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified papers. Domtar is the first company in North America to manage operations from the forest floor to the finished product in a manner that allows it to offer these types of papers.
Domtar is the third largest producer of uncoated freesheet paper in North America and the fourth largest in the world. It is also a leading manufacturer of business papers, printing and publishing papers, and specialty and technical papers. Domtar manages close to 36 million acres of forestland in Canada and the United States, and produces lumber and other wood products.
