Central Timber (CT Timber) are timber merchants that have been operating since 1898. We offer a large range of timber products at wholesale direct prices.

CT Timber has grown to be a highly-respected importer of exotic woods. More than 50 species of imported timbers from Africa, Asia, America and Europe are stored in our warehouses and log yards which are also designed to function as showrooms for customer inspection and for direct selection. Kiln drying facilities at our branches in China utilizes wet off saw and the timbers are kiln dried to meet the customer鈥檚 requirements.
Our goal and commitment is to sell our timbers at the correct moisture content. We source the best timbers from around the world and have established a strong relationship with all the suppliers. We cater to the buyer鈥榮 demands and specifications. Our timbers are available in logs, bundles or break bundles.


History

Established in 1898 by Mr. Guang Pu Ho, CT first operated under the name of Fairtrade Timber (FT) located in Hong Kong. It was famous for being an engine wooden yacht shipyard and a green hardwood sawmiller. By supplying the best timbers at wholesale prices, CT Timber became one of the most active distributors and manufacturers of timbers, KD lumbers, furnitures, wooden stairs, and woodcrafts. The company was restructured in 2003 and expanded to 10 branch offices worldwide to supply all the structural, joinery and timbers/ lumber to the furniture industry.
