Fir trees grown in this area boasts some good characteristics such as longer growth period and compact wood fiber. Moreover, all the fir trees are grown naturally without human interference, which is an incomparable trait for other fir tree plantations in the south and south-east of China. In 2006, in order to exploit the potential of such fine fir trees, our company purchased an area of 24 mu (about 16,000 square meters) in the county industrial district and built plants to manufacture three-layer fir construction plywood. Using advanced equipment, we continue to expand production capacity and improve product quality.
